Plantation Food Series is back, we are visiting @rootdown.hk this time.
We just can’t get enough of ROOTDOWN 🤤.
Using our matcha and Chinese teas, they’ve created a truly impressive drinks menu ranging from creative matcha concoctions and cold-brew teas to an ambitious wine list, and not to mention coffee of course. They’ve taken our teas seriously, sourcing a beautiful, specialized teapot to serve our hot teas. This is not something often seen in cafe operations where turnover is key, so.. our sincere gratitude to you Kenneth and the team!
The food here is just as amazing, so make sure you come on an empty stomach! We ordered the burger, focaccia, wings, and their famous pancake, and every single bite was a 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
💭There is heated debate about whether their pancake is actually cornbread instead, but honestly who cares when the result is so good? We just call it THE ONE & ONLY pancake you’ll find only at ROOTDOWN.
As a bonus, they are open late every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, so you can keep the good vibes going all day long. Kenneth hinted at some exciting new projects in the works, so make sure to give them a follow so you don’t miss out!
