Zhangping Shuixian is a unique oolong tea originating from Zhangping, a city in the southern part of Fujian Province, China. What sets this tea apart is its distinctive form: it is the only oolong traditionally pressed into small, pillowy cakes, gving it a cute shape that is yet convenient for storage and transport. 

The name “Shuixian” translates to “narcissus,” referencing the tea’s floral aroma and elegant character. When brewed, Zhangping Shuixian yields a clear, golden-yellow liquor with a refined floral fragrance. The taste is smooth, mellow, and slightly creamy, with a lingering sweet aftertaste. Its leaves are picked and processed through a series of traditional steps, including withering, rolling, shaping, and baking, followed by the unique compression into cakes.

Zhangping Shuixian is not only a delight for tea enthusiasts but also a symbol of local culture and craftsmanship. It has received recognition as a protected geographical indication product in China, and its production integrates ecological farming and traditional techniques.
