Light roasted
Prized for its buttery mouthfeel, this popular Taiwanese oolong has a natural milky-sweet fragrance with a hint of fresh citrus.
Why we love it:
- It is light and refreshing but not sharp. In fact, it's famous for its extra thick and smooth texture.
- Its distinctive buttery texture comes from the the 金萱 (Golden Daylily) cultivar that has extra thick leaves and grows exclusively in Taiwan. At high altitudes, the tea plants are shrouded in mist, which slows their growth and results in extra plump, juicy leaves.
- It's the real deal, which is getting harder to find, due to the increase of artificially flavoured knock-offs. We can attest to its quality, having personally witnessed the entire production process from beginning to end.
