Why we love it:
- As a fermented tea, this Ripe Puerh is good to have with or after a heavy meal.
- Because the tannins are broken down in the fermentation process, ripe Puerh is a very mellow tea with no bitterness or astringency.
- It ages well - you can keep it for many years.
- The tea bar shape is super compact, great for travelling.
This 60g bar has 12 squares of tea and you can brew each square 4-5 times, depending on the size of your brewing vessel.
What is Black tea?
1. Gently break open one piece of tea from the bar and put in a 100ml gaiwan or teapot.
2. Pour 95-100'c hot water to the vessel.
3. Pour out the liquid after 10-15 secs to "wake up" the tea.
4. Fill up the vessel again with 95-100'c hot water. Steep for one minute.
5. Pour out the tea and enjoy!
