Jasmine Snow Drops | 茉莉飄雪

Origin: Ya'an, Sichuan, China

Harvested high in the mountains in the early spring, this green tea is made entirely from tender young buds—the most prized part of the tea plant. Using only these delicate buds gives the tea an exceptionally smooth, balanced flavor with minimal bitterness.
To achieve its floral fragrance, fresh jasmine blossoms are layered with the leaves eight separate times so the tea naturally absorbs their rich essential oils. Dried flowers are added to the final mix, and when brewed, the green tea leaves sink to the bottom and the blossoms float like snowflakes.
