Introduction to Tea Workshop | |茶學|入門

In this beginner's workshop, our Tea Masters will guide you through the basics about tea: what it is, how it's made and how it's categorised. You'll taste one tea from each of the 5 main categories (white, green, oolong, black and fermented) and gain whole new appreciation for your daily cuppa.

Our teas are whole leaf, single-origin teas sourced direct from small family farms around Asia. No flavours are added. 


  • Time: Saturday 4 November, 11am-12:15pm
  • Duration: 1 hour
  • Venue: Plantation Tea Bar, 18 Po Tuck Street, Sai Wan (HKU MTR Station Exit B2)
  • Maximum participants: 8 (Please indicate quantity above.)
  • Language: This workshop will be conducted in English

Important things to note

  • This workshop is non-refundable, so please consider your availability carefully before booking. No-shows will not be refunded.
  • The workshop starts and ends on time (we cannot extend the time if you arrive late).
  • If you cannot come because of an emergency, please call us at 5596 6254. We can't guarantee rescheduling for all circumstances.
  • The workshop will be cancelled if there are less than 4 bookings, or there is a Black Rainstorm or T8. We will reschedule the workshop or return the fee as credit.

Due to the pandemic, international delivery fees are higher than normal and we cannot deliver to some countries. Contact us at for help.

Hong Kong delivery

Delivery is free for orders of HK$500 or more. Heavy items do not qualify for free shipping. Please allow 5-7 working days for your delivery. See our shipping policy.

International delivery

Delivery is free for orders of HK$2500 or more. All other orders have a flat delivery fee of HK$450. Heavy items do not qualify for free shipping. We aim to send orders within 5 business days of payment, and they are usually delivered within 14-60 days, depending on the destination. See our shipping policy.
