Medium roasted
One of Taiwan's most famous teas, Alishan High Mountain Oolong is fresh and vegetal with a natural floral aroma and buttery texture.
Why we love it:
- It has a super thick, buttery texture, which is from the cultivar and the environment in which it grows.
- It's grown in lofty elevations where the tea plants are blanketed in a sea of clouds (雲海) every morning, yielding plumper, juicier leaves.
- Every sip of this tea is imbued with mountain essence (山頭氣) - like you're breathing in crisp highland air. The small family farm that makes this tea is situated in Shizhuo 石卓 at 1680m above sea level.
- It is medium roasted to elevate its natural aromas to another level.
