While most Earl Grey teas are black tea scented with bergamot oil, Plantation Earl Grey uses organic Red Jade black tea from Taiwan, layered directly with hand-shredded bergamot peel. This gives the blend a bold, uplifting citrus aroma.
To complete the cup, the Red Jade is blended with Keemun black tea from Anhui. The Keemun introduces a smooth, soft texture and a subtle fruitiness that softens the sharp edge of the citrus. The result is an elevated Earl Grey, offering both bright, lively aroma and a rounded, satisfying finish.
