Chinese New Year often brings to us imagery of families with multiple generations gathering around a table, where old traditions and new ideas interweave. For this reason, this year we have chosen an Aged Tangerine White Tea, which symbolizes the passing of time, and fashioned it into a cute biscuit shape. This makes it convenient for brewing and perfect for long-term storage, as if giving new life to something old. The aged white tea is made from 2017 aged Gongmei white tea from Fuding, Fujian, the home of white tea, pressed together with 2016 aged tangerine peel from Xinhui, Guangdong. The flavor is mellow and sweet, carrying the aged aroma of the old tea itself, and the spicy, medicinal fragrance of the tangerine peel.

The design inspiration for the gift box complements the Aged Tangerine White Tea, drawing on the traces left by nature over time. Much like the folding ridges of mountains and the weathered grain of wood, they all symbolize the rich and fragrant years. The gift box also includes a Matte White Ceramic Gaiwan and teacup set, allowing the tea brewing experience to blend into daily life

About Aged Tangerine White Tea Biscuit
This is a rare pressed tea made from an aged 2017 gongmei white tea from Fuding, the home of White tea, and an aged 2016 tangerine peel from Xinhui, similarly the home of tangerine peel, resulting in an extra smooth tea with the deep, fragrant flavours of aged “chenpi”. The tea is pressed into biscuit shape for better aging and easy storage.

About Matte White Ceramic Gaiwan Set
