Tipsy Tea Pop-Up at Quinary 8 March

Join us for a Tipsy Tea night at Quinary on Wednesday 8 March 2023!

We've partnered with award-winning mixologist Antonio Lai of Quinary and Dimple Yuen of Two Moons Distillery for a unique tea and alcohol pairing experience, for one night only.

Our original menu will be served from 6-9pm - no booking necessary!

Come and try your favourite brews like Red Jade with Bergamot and Tangerine Puerh shaken up as creative cocktails! Each order comes with a hot tea brewed by Nana Chan accompanied by a cocktail made with the same tea, so you can experience the differences and similarities of the two beverages side-by-side.

In celebration of International Women's Day that day, the menu features not only tea from Nana Chan but also gin from Dimple Yuen, co-founder of Two Moons Distillery. Also, some teas on the menu are made by women-led farms, a rare sight in the industry.

For example, Red Jade with Bergamot is an elevated Earl Grey made of whole leaf Red Jade black tea with hand-shredded strips of bergamot peel, from a women-led organic farm in Taiwan.

You'll be able to taste this tea in two ways, both as a hot brew and as a multisensory cocktail, Ruby Bergamot (HK$140), with Two Moons Gin and soda, topped with tea air.

In honour of lunar-beings, Love You to the Moon & Back (HK$160) features fragrant Yunnan Moonlight White - a tea dried under the moonlight - and Two Moons Five Flowers Gin, it’s a floral toast to femininity.

"I have really enjoyed creating new ways to enjoy traditional teas and I can't wait to share them with you," says Nana.

“I’ve always loved tea - on its own and as a mixer,” says Antonio. “I’ve been experimenting with it ever since my Earl Grey Caviar Martini. Co-creating this menu is an exciting challenge, and I'm excited to share this new take on tea with Hong Kongers.”

See you there!
