Plantation's Christmas: The Best Merry Masala for You

Masala Chai has been synonymous with the name "teakha" since its inception 8 years ago, and to this day our recipe continues to evolve, taking comments from thousands who have tasted this drink and ramping up our tea and spice quality whenever we have the chance. 


This is our popular Christmas version (Merry Masala) , with added spices, and dried orange to give you that extra kick and warmth. Brew it as you would a black tea, or for that perfect masala chai texture, try boiling it the traditional Indian / teakha way: 

Step by step
1. Bring 250ml water to the boil. Add a few pieces of cardamom. 
2. Add 8g of Plantation's Merry Masala to the water and boil for 3 minutes.
3. Add 150ml of fresh milk, boil for another 3 minutes or until it thickens.
4. Turn off the heat, strain out all the ingredients. 
5. Add sugar to taste.
