Old Grove Black Tea | 老欉紅茶

This tea is from Tongmuguan in Wuyishan, China. Tongmuguan is home to some very old tea trees. Tea families there are making tea from the same trees their great grandparents tended to. Old Grove Black Tea is made from trees that are at least 50 years old, and ours is from 70-year-old trees, making it a very premium tea.
These trees grow tall, with thick branches covered in moss. When trees pass the 50 year mark, the stem begins to harden from the centre and the leaves gain a more complex flavour profile with an extra sweetness and a stronger aftertaste.
We taste something akin to fragrant wood or tree bark, with notes of toasted grain and an underlying mineral flavour that is characteristic of tea from this region.

Hong Kong delivery
Delivery is free for orders of HK$500 or more. Heavy items do not qualify for free shipping. Please allow 5-7 working days for your delivery. See our shipping policy.
International delivery
Delivery is free for orders of HK$2500 or more. All other orders have a flat delivery fee of HK$450. Heavy items do not qualify for free shipping. We aim to send orders within 5 business days of payment, and they are usually delivered within 14-60 days, depending on the destination. See our shipping policy.
