Made from only the finest new shoots harvested in the early onset of spring, our Darjeeling First Flush has an abundance of silver tips (buds) and is much less oxidised ('greener') than most black teas. Grown in the pure, crisp air of the Himalayas, this tea is often called the “Champagne of Teas” for its muscatel, white grape flavour, with undertones of chrysanthemum.
This year's batch is crisp and refreshing, and features beautiful green leaves, exhibiting grassy and light grape notes.
