A deliciously rich whole-leaf black tea, Darjeeling Autumn Crescendo is harvested in autumn—the third harvest or “flush” of the year. It is stronger and more robust than its first flush sibling, yielding a copper colour liquor and a sweet, bready flavour with a malty base and highlights of Darjeeling's signature muscatel notes.
We source this tea from a top tea estate in Darjeeling. The tea makers there say the third flush is the grand finale, or crescendo, given by the tea bushes at the end of the harvesting period before they go dormant for the winter.
Darjeeling Autumn Crescendo is a strong, robust tea that’ll warm your heart and carry you through the winter.
